As Days Go By
As the days go by,
I feel the sense of loneliness,
Like the one I love has been taken away.
As the days go by
I feel the heat of the sun,
But there is no warmth from it,
The one I love has been taken away,
And the winds laugh at me.
As the days go by
Winter has come,
With snow and I feel at last happy,
For I and cold inside and out,
For the one I love has been taken away.
As the days go by
Summer comes with the heat I the sun,
And I feel the warmth at last,
For the one I love has come back,
She gives freedom to all,
She brings joy to all who looks at her
And she cannot be defeated again.
