POW

I have endured humiliation
At the hands of my captors,
They spit on me,
Curse me,
And jeered at me
Because i am their prisoner.

I have endured pain,
Pain at the hands of my captors,
Torturing me for information,
Or just to test my duration,
So that it may be used on the battle field,
Or they torture me,
Just because they can.

I endure this all,
Because I believe in the cause,
And I will do my best,
To never indulge any information,
That might hurt that cause.
