So yesterday I was craving some Brussel Sprouts and I wanted them fast. Cooking in a pressure cooker will ensure that they get done in record time. However take my advice, do not pressure cook for 2 minutes, they get a bit mushy. They taste better not so mushy and since we are going to saute them for a few minutes after pressuring cooking, they do not have to be completely mushy.
Toss the bag of Brussel Sprouts in the Pressure cooker with about 1/2 cup of water. Close lid and pressurize. Cook under pressure for 1 to 2 minutes depending on how mushy you want it. Let it depressurize.
In a skillet add the Butter and brown the butter.
Add the Brussel Sprouts to the browned butter and saute until the outside gets crispy. Add salt and pepper. And Serve.
* Instead of Salt and Pepper, you can add any of your favor seasoning. I like to add lemon to mine from time to time. You could also add Parmesan Cheese while sauteing.
